| The centre has 2 stadiums both of which are world-class. National Hockey Stadium 1 is a facility big enough to house 12,000 seated spectators, boasts a competition Astroturf type 90 pitch besides a space frame system. The other, National Hockey Stadium 2, also is an Astroturf 90 playing pitch, is capable of accommodating 2,000 seated audience of which 1,000 are covered seating. Given the limited seating size, Stadium 2 is geared for training stints. Both the stadiums have roof floodlights with adjustable brightness up to 1400 lux, and full colour electronic and manual scoreboard. In this XXI Sea Games 2001, both the Men and Women Hockey play-offs will be held at this stadium. | ||||
