| The centre has one Olympic-size swimming pool, one diving pool and a training pool, and is specifically designed for international sports. It has 4,000 permanent seats and a further 2,000 temporary seating. The centre has an interesting hibiscus shaped lightweight membrane roof, suspended from a giant steel mast. The internal lighting makes the roof glows as sapphire at night. In this XXI Sea Games 2001, all Aquatic events (other than Water Polo) will be held at this venue. | ||||
